Joe Bradley

Director of Engineering and Entrepreneurship Education, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
Joe Bradley is a Clinical Associate Professor of Bioengineering at the Grainger College of Engineering, a Health Innovation Professor, and the Director of Engineering and Entrepreneurship Education at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. His research focuses on the design and performance of complex-engineered systems, with particular emphasis on how system architecture influences outcomes and overall behavior. He has developed and applied tools to study the alignment of products and services with organizational processes.
Dr. Bradley is currently engaged in curriculum development for innovation and engineering-based medical education at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, collaborating with the curriculum team and the Office of Faculty Development. He is also a co-founder of Sun Buckets, Inc.
He earned his B.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University; and an MBA and Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
