【活動緣起：跨越疆界，定義醫療新視界】
在人工智慧、工程科技與醫學快速交會的關鍵時刻，「工程醫學（Engineering Medicine）」正成為重塑未來醫療與醫師培育的核心趨勢。
「全球工程醫學創新聯盟」（Global Consortium of Innovation and Engineering in Medicine, GCIEM）致力於透過國際協作，融合醫學、工程與創新，推動醫療照護的轉型與升級。自2024年創立以來，聯盟目前已匯聚來自 19 國、30 所以上頂尖的醫學院與工程學院，成為推動工程醫學教育與醫療科技創新的重要國際平台。

面對面交流創新智慧
首屆高峰會 2025 年於美國伊利諾大學香檳分校 Carle Illinois College of Medicine 盛大舉辦，為延續此醫學與工程之跨領域研發動能，國立陽明交通大學成功爭取到 2026 年在台舉辦第二屆 GCIEM 全球高峰會。本次全球高峰會焦點包括：

聚集全球醫學創新及醫學工程領域之產官學研專家，集思廣益運用工程醫學與AI解決醫療難題、改善病人結果。

推動醫學教育新方向：
全球頂尖醫學院校師生在台灣大會師，共同探討如何培育兼具臨床與工程能力的跨域醫療人才，應對世界當前高齡化社會和醫療人力不足的挑戰。
